RIAM Closure
Following the Government directive for all schools and education institutions, the Royal Irish Academy of Music will be closed until 29th March.
RIAM Exams for this period will also be cancelled and re-scheduled.

Hi everybody! These are challenging times for sure....
In keeping with the Covid-19 Government directive, we will remain open as we are a 'one to one' school with very small numbers on the premises at any time. We want to assure parents and students that we will continue to adhere to HSE guidelines and are fully committed to providing our students and teachers with the safest possible environment for lessons.
What we are doing....
We have anti bacterial cleaner in all rooms to spray/wipe down the instruments after each student.
We have anti bacterial hand wash in the bathroom.
We have hand sanitiser at the front door and ask all students to use before they commence their class.
We have notices on the board and bathroom door to this effect.
We have asked teachers to adhere to the guidelines ref social distancing and remain at least 1m from the student during class.

The RIAM Local Centre Senior Examiners are delighted to announce a grace period for all exams, effective from 2018. This means that the 2017 Piano Albums will be accepted in the first session only of 2018.

National Concert Hall are running a 'New Music - New Methods' workshop for any student age 15 and over with at least grade 6. When? late Jan/early Feb 2015. Cost? FREE!
It's designed to provide music students with the opportunity to explore alternative processes of making music.
